About us
We are here to help parents raise happy and healthy children
‘Parivaar’ (meaning Family) is an association of parents of children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability and multiple disabilities). Parivaar Kerala is the State federation having affiliates in all the districts of Kerala State. At national level, we are affiliated to Parivaar – NCPO (National Confederation of Parents Organisations). National Parivaar was formed in the year 1996 with 22 parents’ associations as its members.
First of all I would like to give a big salute to our erstwhile leaders who came together to form this august organization, fostering and nurturing it, against all odds.

Mission
o strive for the total inclusion of the PwIDD in the mainstream of the society in every walk of life, without discrimination, through advocacy and by creating awareness in the community to accommodate PwIDD as equal and contributing citizens

Empowerment of PwIDD and their families; protection of rights of PwIDD; enhancement of their dignity in society and quality of life.
